Mama's Room
Mama’s Room is a tribute to Martha’s mother, Ovada Pounders. An embroidered sampler in the bathroom quotes Abe Lincoln’s famous words, “All that I am or hope to be I owe to my mother.” The room is furnished with Mama’s bedroom furniture, picture, and beautiful pink and white Amish quilt. Memorabilia from her life are proudly displayed, to be enjoyed by all—from her pink teddy bear cookie jar to her pink and white teakettle that holds an arrangement of baby roses, along with her costume jewelry and other items of interest. There is a comfortable queen-size bed and a large country dresser. The room has a beautifully decorated private bath with a tub and shower.
Mama’s Room is $99.00 for two people or $89.00 for one person. After two days stay, the rate reduces by 10% on the third and fourth days, and 20% for each day thereafter for up to a week. Prices for longer stays are negotiable. A 6% occupancy tax will be added.
